2008 Spring Hill Youth Football Association Camp Information

Location: The Lion's Club Fields (Pete Boyd Fields) at Evans Park

Dates: Monday, June 2, 2008 thru Friday, June 6, 2008

Time: 8am - Noon

This camp is for both football players and cheerleaders. The two do not interact during the camp, but it is held at the same location. This is a non-contact, non-pads, camp for the football players. We will be working on skills, exercise, and teamwork development.

It is recommended that you bring your child early (about 7:30). There is a check-in process that will take a little time with the number of kids we have this year. The sooner we get them signed-in the sooner we can get started on the day.

Please have your child dressed appropriately: t-shirts and shorts are the recommended dress. We encourage you to let the kids wear their camp t-shirt every day of camp. Cleats are recommended for the players, but tennis shoes are just fine.
Please make sure your child has a water bottle with them each day. We will provide cold water, but we need for the kids to have something to carry it in. If you would like your child to bring a sports drink, that is fine also. Please ask them to keep up with them and use them as water bottles when they are finished with the sports drink. Please clearly mark your child's container as theirs.

You are free to drop your child off for the entire camp time, but make sure you arrive on time to pick them up. You are also welcome to stay during any or all of the camp. Please be aware that when regular season practices start, it will not be acceptable to drop your child off for practice.

Lastly, please make sure you let us know about any special conditions involving your child you think we need to be aware of and watch out for.
